Segementation of architecture models in Essential Viewer

Hello,

I have created a local tomcat instance for the essential_viewer. I have imported the example architecture model for the financial organization.

Now I want to setup new architectural artifacts for my own company. But I want to make sure that when I view the architectural artifacts of my company, I don't see the capabilities, roadmaps etc of the example.

How can I do this? Currently my capabilities are all mixed in with the example. I want to keep the example so I can refer back to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jamal,

We separate the capture and the reporting as two discreet actions to allow us to control the rate of change in the reporting environment.

In order to capture your company's artefacts, you will need to start with a blank baseline repository in Protege rather than your current repository with the demo content in.

Once you have captured the data, you can publish to one or more viewers. I've explained how to do this in your other post.

Let me know if you need a more detailed explanation for this.

Cheers

Neil
