We are able to understand the meta model for Application Information Dependency view.
Applications related to Interfaces.
But we do have Shared Folders (Several), Web Servers, Database servers which has a connection point with interfaces/applications.
We want to establish relation ship between them to the above in the same view.
But do note we dont want to pollute application catalogue with these elements.
What is the best way to achieve the same.
Application Information Dependency - servers shared folders linking
Hi,
the diagram below illustrates the relationships that need to be traversed in order to capture a number of dependencies that exist for applications, including the ones you have listed. In all cases, none of the elements on the right are modelled using Application Providers and so they will not contaminate your Application Catalogue.
Please note that, with the exception of the relationships to Technology Products (in light blue), we do not currently have graphical style views to display these relationships. They can, however, be viewed for a given application in the Application Provider Summary view. The relationship to Technology Products can be viewed for a given application using the Technology Strategy Alignment view.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Jason
