This video shows an issue found in Essential Viewer 5 while trying to change language: after choose one of listed language, the server displays a blank page.

However, if you manually write de languaje code in the address bar, you get the translated version.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we're unable to replicate this issue.

Once you have chosen the language and confirmed your selection, you should have been redirected automatically back to the page from which you started.

Looking at your video (which was very helpful) this doesn't seem to be happening. You should not need to hit the back button and doing so will cause issues with the old/new URLs.

Can you describe your setup...
Tomcat version
Java version
OS
Browser version

We'll try and setup a similar environment here to test.

Thanks

Neil

Hi,

This is the setup information:

Tomcat 7.0
Java 1.8
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
google Chrome 48.0 (I tried Firefox 42.0, but I've got the same behavior)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

We've been spending some time looking into this however we've been unable to replicate it successfully.

We have experienced an issue where it did appear to redirect to an incorrect page however clicking the home icon resolved this and we never saw the issue again.

We'd suggest clearing the cache and cookies for the site in case it some legacy configuration that's not being reset properly.

Finally, I assume you're running some custom domain. Are you using SSL?

Thanks

Neil
